Online Information 2007
Steve Dale will be speaking at the Online Information 2007 conference on the subject of communities of practice in local government, drawing on the work he did with the Improvement and Development Agency.
Steve developed the knowledge management strategy at IDeA, culminating in the launch of an online community platform. He’ll be talking about his experiences and lessons learned in his talk at the conference.

I am very interested in CoPs for knowledge and information sharing purposes. I was previously employed at PwC whereby this was a standard platform. However, I recently started working for the Greater London Authority and the dynamics seems to be different in local government - but there are plans to improve sharing across the GLA group and maybe our partners.
